Here are a few things for you to remember when roleplaying on the Fang. If you have any questions, post in the appropriate board, and a staff member will get back to you ASAP.
OUT OF CHARACTER --------------------------------
- You must be over 13 years of age to be a member; this is a Proboards rule, not mine. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- No pornography or suggestive images of any kind is allowed here.
- Be kind to one another. It's just a game, so there is no sense in being rude.
- Do not start fights! Go to the administration with interpersonal issues.
- Signatures must not be over 500px in width or they will be removed without warning. It stretches the boards, and we like to keep things looking neat.
- All images must have credit given to the original stock provider. If you don't then you are STEALING. We are very serious about this rule.
- Do NOT spam the c-box or any other board on this site; you will be deleted and threads removed. - It is 1 account per player.
- Link your Characters Profile threads in your Signature, so we know who plays who and put your OCC name in your Custom title section. If you find you cannot, a staff member will do it for you.
-Be sure to make a log to keep track of all of your characters, so we can keep track of all of your characters.
IN CHARACTER --------------------------------
- All wolves are realistic on here. Please mind the site plot, but no magical wolves with super powers, or wings, or even unnatural colors/patterns. Hybrids will have odd patterns, and we allow any eye color. Anything else is prohibited. - Species that are on the list are the only ones allowed as a Standard Character. Otherwise, you must buy it as a Creature. NO DINGOS ALLOWED. They are dogs, and we do not allow Dogs on The Fang. - Hybrids are allowed here on The Fang of Fenrir. Their colorations will vary because of the mixing of genes.
- Follow correct seasons. If it's winter, your post cannot say ‘it’s hot as a Mo Fo’ or anything to that effect unless you are in an applicable area. We shouldn't have to warn you of this.
- 250 word minimum please, lets give others at least something to reply to. Even if its only 250 words, its quality we are looking for here.
- a Limit of 4 characters per player. You may purchase more character slots. A limit of One Creature slot per player, another may be purchased.
- You must write in third person. EX " He walked slowly over the hard ground, his paws aching from his journey."
- Wolfspeak is totally applicable. EX " His banner raised high, wagging slightly. Orbs of palest pink shone in the early light."
BREEDING AND BIRTHING --------------------------------
- No long birth or graphic births please, this is also a Proboards rule. - Pups age one month every two weeks, until they are one year old, then they age in real time. - If you do not want the pup, you should put it UFA
- Wolves must be active in order to breed. If we catch an inactive character doing nothing but breeding, you will receive a warning. If you don't comply, and it happens again, your character will die in its next child-birth as well as the pups.
-A single wolf may only breed ONCE every seven months unless you opt for a fertility potion that takes four months off of your wait time. Breaking this rule will result in sterility of your character. No exceptions.
- Only staff members can give birth-stats.
- Litters can be anywhere from 1-3 pups, unless you opt for the Fertility potion. Not every pup is guaranteed to be healthy or even born live, but this is up to staff and your characters genetics, and yes, this means you may have a pup that has deformities.
CHALLENGING --------------------------------
- To challenge for a pack, you must have at least one wolf of the opposite gender for it to be an official challenge. -Players may have a "sitter," "herald," or "watcher" over their throne in their absence. This will void their throne absence, and the person left in charge must come to challenging terms without needed consent from the actual owner of said land.
- You cannot claim a she-wolf that is played by you or challenge with one played by yourself.
- Male wolves can claim any she-wolf they wish, with her player's permission.
- Only claim as many females as you have time for, or for what your Pack Stipulates.
-If you inherit/claim a pack, PM a staff member and let them know, with the details so they may change it.
BATTLES/FIGHTING --------------------------------
- You set terms when you challenge; the terms are not valid till both parties agree to them.
- Seven days to reply, unless otherwise agreed upon.
- Fights/battles are to be self contained. If you need an Admin to supervise it, pm one. Be fair and realistic. If you Challenge for The Leadership of a Pack, you must have a valid reason to do so. Any questions, pm the staff.
- Set 1 is 3 attacks 2 dodges. Set 2 is 5 attacks 3 dodges. Set 3, used only in Pack Claiming battles, 7 attacks 4 dodges.
- No power playing; you will be disqualified, and the other player will receive his/her reward instantly. No exceptions.
- Wolves may fight for land, females, positions, titles, revenge, or even sport or practice.
- There is a TWO WEEK recovery time after a Pack Claim Battle. The wolf does NOT have to accept any challenges during this time, and failure to comply may result in severe consequences.
- Recovery time starts after the final judgment is posted.
- Other Wolves may fight at will. Whether they die from their wounds depends on how long they are between battles/spars. You are big boys and girls, you need to keep track of your characters.
-Only staff may judge a fight/battle, and the chosen judge must be agreed upon by both parties and the judge chosen.
.
- To challenge for a Pack, the challenging character MUST BE ACTIVE. This also means that no characters can challenge to rule a pack they don't belong to unless given permission by staff/ The Alphas Player.
BATTLE JUDGING --------------------------------
- Battles are to be judged only by staff.
- If you believe the judging of your battle to be biased or inadequate, you may make an appeal to get your battle re-judged. But if the staff agrees it was fair, then you will not get re-judged and the results will be final. We do things as fair as possible here.
- Post this appeal on the battle thread immediately after the judging. You have two days after the completion of the judging to ask for a re-judge, though, as said before, it may not happen depending on the said problem.
- If there were multiple judges, specify which judging you are contesting.
- You may not choose the new judge. It will be chosen for you by me, the head admin.
